Entry Requirements

To be eligible for entry to the programme, a student will require:

 

1.
(a)
An honours degree from a UK university (minimum 2:2*) in any subject, or equivalent award from a non-UK university.

NOTE: Please find below the grading scheme according to the British undergraduate degree classification system:

• First Class Honours (First or 1st)
• Second Class Honours, Upper Division (2:1)
• Second Class Honours, Lower Division (2:2)*
• Third Class Honours (Third or 3rd)
• Ordinary Degree (Pass)

(b)
Three years’ work experience at managerial level with significant responsibility for resources (staff, financial, physical etc. or a combination of these). Prospective students must be able to demonstrate that these responsibilities were significant and that they had a high level of autonomy. A decision on entry to the programme via a work experience route will be made by NCC Education.

2.
English Language Requirements:

Applicants to the NCC Education PgD BM programme must demonstrate the required level of English to work in an academic environment at UK Masters level. This can be shown in one of the following ways:

Option 1:
Internationally recognized English test (eg. IELTS / TOEFL / BULATS / BEC etc. IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)
Option 2:
Standard ‘X’ in English Language from ICSE (CISCE Board) – Grade 1 to 6 + Bachelor Degree in any discipline, taught entirely in English
Option 3:
IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma in English as a second language; or Standard ‘XII’ in English language from CISCE / CBSE boards or the state boards of Maharashtra / Tamilnadu / Kerala / West Bengal / Andhra Pradesh / Karnataka Board – Minimum 60% + Bachelor Degree in any discipline, taught entirely in English
Option 4:
Standard ‘XII’ from all other boards – Minimum 75% + Bachelor Degree in any discipline, taught entirely in English
Option 5:
Bachelor Degree in any discipline, taught entirely in English + NCC Education Higher English Placement Test (HEPT)* – Minimum score 70
 
* NCC Education Higher English Placement Test (HEPT): This test has two parts; part one is an online assessment and part two is conducted face-to-face. The test will assess a student's full range of English language skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking), identify their strengths and target any skills that need further development. Results will be processed immediately after testing to support a student's application onto an NCC Education programme.
